Hello! I am a bioinformatician and computational geneticist looking to study the neurogenetics of brain disorders, both cancerous and psychiatric. Most recently, I worked as a data analyst in the Rabadan Lab at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where I focused on aberrant gene function, identifying molecular subtypes for improved personalized medicine, and elucidating genetic and environmental effects contributing to disease onset and progression.

I also worked as a bioinformatics associate in the Landau Lab at New York Genome Center, where I analyzed single-cell multi-omic data (scATAC-seq, scRNA-seq) to identify subpopulations in murine cells associated with reprogramming and pluripotency. I completed my bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University in genetics and a certificate in computational genetics, with a focus on statistical genetics and bioinformatics. I was fortunate to be advised by Derek Gordon, with whom I developed the Fisher-Falconer Power Calculator.

I am passionate about increasing diversity and inclusivity in the medical and academic settings; with previous experience mentoring women in STEM through the Douglass Project SUPER program. For more details, check my CV or send me an email.
